Welcome to Mengo, my creative playground for handmade objects inspired by my most cherished memories. It’s also my last name and favorite fruit.

My current work celebrates the joy of flowers, specifically the plum blossom. It's a delightful shape that's very meaningful to me. My mom's Chinese name 徐梅華 means plum blossom mei-hua and magnificent hua. It’s the national flower of Taiwan, her home country, and symbolizes hope. It blooms amidst the winter snow and just like the flower, she was born in winter. It's a beautiful name rich in meaning so I want to celebrate my mom and her name, always.
